Volcano Boarding + Origin at Asososca Lagoon

Volcano Boarding Cerro Negro before Origin Adventure Park

Volcano Boarding

We leave León at 8am, driving for around an hour to the bottom of Cerro Negro volcano. You will then hike approximately 45 minutes, carrying your board and a special backpack we provide, containing your equipment and personal belongings.

In 2001 we created this new sport and we are happy to tell you that you will be in the best hands.

Not for the faint hearted, volcano boarding down Cerro Negro is a must-do for thrill-seekers. Hike up to the top of a picturesque view, sit on a piece of wood, and then fly down the black sands of the volcano.

Origin Adventure Park at Asososca Lagoon

We will then drive around 2 hours to Asososca Lagoon, where we have lunch, surrounded by nature, with the breathtaking view of the lagoon.

After lunch you can relax in a hammock, float in a tube, or go for a boat ride around the lagoon, taking in the view of the surrounding volcanoes. You may want to take some spare cash, as there is a bar selling ice-cold drinks here.

Then let the next adventure begin! Try out the Tarzan Swing, Canopy and Rappel at Origin Adventure Park, situated right next to Asososca Lagoon. Feel the rush as you fly through the air, in this beautiful setting.

We’ll watch the sunset, then return back to León around 7pm. You can check out the website here: www.originadventurepark.com

**About our social responsibility project**
We believe in giving back to the local community who live on the road to Cerro Negro volcano. As part of Mas Adventures, Project Cornizuelo’s focus is on education; support the future of Nicaragua and change a child’s life for the better. Education is free in Nicaragua, however a lot of families cannot afford the school supplies, such as stationary and clothing, and so many children do not go to school. This means the children are left without the opportunity to better themselves, and their families, through a good education.

In 2003 we went house to house and spoke with the families, and since then we have been supporting them in any way we can. If you'd like to help out please let us know, and we can provide further details.

Includes: transport to/from León, local bi-lingual tour guide, all entrance fees, equipment and board for Volcano Boarding, lunch, water and all adventure park activities.
